Kodak Anti-Calcium

I've come across an almost full 1lb jar of "Kodak Anti-Calcium". Judging from the label, this looks like it must date back at least to the 1960s. Does anybody know whether this is the equivalent of what later became known as "Calgon"? I know the brand has been used for various products, but I'm wondering if this would be suitable for developer formulas calling for Calgon. I'm also wondering about the shelf life -- can anybody tell if it would still be usable?

The following is a link to a discussion of Kodak Anti-Calcium. It indicates that this product was sodium tetraphosphate, while the original Calgon was hexametaphosphate.

Most probably Sodium Hexametaphosphate, which is what Calgon initially was. If it gives more or less pH neutral solutions, then that's it. Given the last sentence that it shouldn't be used in caustic developers for long term storage, I'd say it's even more probable.

Thanks for those links. So it should be interchangeable with Calgon? And I guess in its powder form it should have a pretty long life?
