ektachrome Movie film is NOT supplied in 35mm. Just Super 8 and 16mm. the still version is only provided in 35mm 36 exposure rolls..
I bet if Quinton Tarrintino called EK would whip up a few hundred thousand feet for him.:D. He would have to agree to not sell 400 ft. rolls on Ebay :sad:

I don't know of any major movie that was shot on reversal film???

There have been, before Agfa and Kodak and others established their pos-neg processes.

The longest commercial one on Agfacolor I know of runs 21min.
Similar for Kodachrome.

The longest on Ansco reversal film runs 87min. However, here the taking was on Technicolor seperations and only the release copies were reversal.

there were parts of the movie what dreams may come shot on velvia 50 to give a surreal, over the top color feeling to it. it worked well
