Hello,
I need to clear a little space on some of my shelves in the bathroom, and these must go. If there are no takers, they will go out with next Tuesday's recycling batch.
They are 757mL/25.6oz. (plus a bit more) bottles from Kodak Flexicolor Fixer and Replenisher. I hate to throw away nice bottles, but I haven't made much use of them, since they are not a very useful size to me.
I suppose they would be of use if you were to use a developer one shot starting with 1L/1qt, and then decant after you use up the first 250mL/8 oz. (Then go to a 500mL/16oz. bottle after these, etc.)
I suppose you could also make up 24 oz. (instead of 32, like most recipes make) of any chemical that calls for being mixed 1:4 stock:water (such as HCA) and store the stock in these. Then you would end up with almost one gallon of working solution in the end.
If you want them, I will shove as many as I can fit into a medium flat rate box (may not be the whole lot; I don't know if it will fit) for $11. (OK; I rounded up by five cents, so they are not exactly free. We'll consider the five cents the cost of tape and a trip to the P.O.)
Of course, local pickup would be best. A better deal for all involved.
