Your English is fine. They stated existing and didn't say which. There are a limited number of options...

As to which films they are, the guesses in this thread are probably as good a guess as you'll get. Interestingly, nobody seems to have authoritative contacts within Kodak to ask, nor has anyone asked Mr. Mooney, who is quite responsive to most questions about Kodak.

I doubt that they are the same film as something you can buy new in another box, with a different version/name on it.
They may very well be basically the same as an older iteration of a no longer made film, adjusted due to concerns about current costs and component availability concerns. Or even just adjusted so the old emulsions can be used with Estar base, instead of the acetate base that the older version came on.

… unless the rebranding is to simply make the old branding obsolete. Specifically, replacement for improved marketing versus an additional product SKU. That wouldn’t surprise me at all.

I think the quality has gone down much more once domestic producers started to send manufacturing offshore to reduce prices.

That’s fine. You’re entitled to an opinion. But what does that have to do with Kodacolor 100 and 200? That’s the topic most of us are discussing.

Wow how this thread got derailed quickly. People want to know which of Kodak's existing films being made are the new Kodacolors. Based on what Ive seen so far, and already mentioned, the 100 is Lomo 100. They did say existing films and an old or new version of Gold 100 wouldnt make sense, partly because Gold 100 is not being made today. Kodak VR Plus 100 is being made (under Lomo 100). That would meet the requirements of Kodaks statement of existing films already being made today. I was really hoping Kodacolor 100 would be a reissue of Gold 100, but alas it doesnt seem to be the case. Gold 100 was my favorite C41 film. I tend to like more saturated colors, which Kodacolor 100 does not have. I really wish we could get back Portra 160VC film, and even Portra 400UC. My next video on this new film is on hold until I can get my PC up and running again. I tried rendering the video on my laptop and it was taking 8 days to export. 4 days in on that and my damn laptop did an update and restarted my computer, making 4 days of work tossed out.

The Lucky (appropriate name) color negative film is coming probably be cheap cheap

Lucky have made it clear that the level of investment they've made into bringing colour film back into production means it will not be "cheap cheap". Though it may just undercut Kodacolor. Since it's not on the market yet, it's difficult to know but $8-9 a roll has been mentioned.

Kodacolor 100, if it is an existing film (as Kodak tell us it is) logically would be what's been previously sold as Lomography 100. Which the intended market will be fine with. Personally I prefer the older versions to Gold anyway. So I am happy that Kodacolor 100 and 200 will be available alongside Gold 200. Keeps everyone happy.
