Klasse S problems

Hello all,
I was out shooting my Fujifilm Klasse S, and on frame 4 it simply stopped taking pictures. It extends/detracts the lens on power on/off, and the LCD comes on but only to show frame 4, and flash the self timer icon. Otherwise it does not respond to any stimulus. I took out the film and tried to replace it, but it will not wind on the film, almost like it thinks there is already a film in there.

I've taken out the battery and left it overnight, same results.

Other than send it off for repair, what can I do?

check if there is anything stuck in the gears, try to reset some settings in the menu.
