King Regula Super Automatic SLK shutter question

Hi there,
I have a problem in the above named camera in that the rear blades don't move when fired. I say rear blades, and this confuses me, because the shutter appears to have two sets of blades, one set which is visible from inside the camera rear, which don't move in the least, and one set which is visible inside the front of the camera body when the lens is removed. These blades do move when the shutter is fired, but reveal the stationary rear set (when on B setting). Am I missing something, all the shutters I've worked on only have one set of blades?

The few King cameras I've seen had Prontor shutters. By "rear blades" do you perhaps mean the aperture?

No, the aperture blades are within the removable lens. I can't find much on the SLK shutter.

No, the aperture blades are within the removable lens. I can't find much on the SLK shutter.

Leaf shutter cameras with exchangable lenses can be designed in 3 ways:

-) aperture and shutter in classic location in a basic lens (tessar type) and additional, exchangable front assemblies

-) aperture and shutter in classic location, with an accessory shutter at the body to avoid film exposure during lens exchange

-) aperture in classic location, but shutter just behind the lens as part of the body

The latter is the design of the OP's camera.
Thus inside the body will be a Prontor SLK shutter assembly without aperture blades.
