A couple of months ago, on a whim I purchased a Kine Exacta with a Zeiss lens. It is a lovely camera to look at, but I don't want to just look at it, I would like to use it. The problem is that I tried to load film but couldn't. I'm not sure if there is a part missing or not. Does anyone know of a site where I could get a manual for this camera?

The Exakta range had loose take-up spools and these can get lost. They also usually load the film on the right with the take-up spool on the left.

Just checked any standard cassette spool (to the ISO) will work ok ie clip on resonably but would will need a hacksaw cut to hold the film in place (45 degrees to axis). I tried a Kodak.

The pukka spools are nice though.
