Hey guys,

I recently had an interest in getting some Kentmere Black and white film to shoot with as I'm impressed with the tonal quality it produced. This might be and obvious question but.. it jives with D-76 ok?

The film stock is thin and handles somewhat differently than the Tri-X I am used to, but it is a fine film.

Either of the Kentmere 100 or 400 will work with D76.
The times with ID11 can be used as starting points.
The film is cheap as 135 or 100 foot bulk.
The 100 fills a gap left by Plusx.
The 400 is like Trix from 05 or earlier.
Grainier but with a lower contrast toe.

Yes, it's okay in D-76.

For what's worth, I found the Kentmere printed in the darkroom better than it scanned (less grain.)

This is due to grain aliasinh caused by your scanner.
