Since I've searched for a starting point for this new film and have not found one, I did a bracketed first test roll in replenished Xtol, 11 1/2 minutes at 72F. It came out a bit over developed, I'll probably cut it back to 10 min at 72F for the next roll. I'd thought I'd share my times in case anyone else tries this film and needs a starting point. More on my blog four-silver-atoms.com.

Looks similar to what I remember APX 100, but not exact.

The time seems to be in the ballpark for what I have gotten with XTOL 1+1 - I ran it at 12 minutes, 20° C, exposing at EI 100. I like the film but the non-light and my inclination to not use a tripod kills any slow film most of the time for me.

I did a roll of Kentmere 400 in Xtol 1:0 using D-76 times, which was a good ballpark starting point, but again it looked slightly over developed. 9 1/2 min t 68f, corrected to 7 3/4 min at 72F.

We should try this out at a few different temps, maybe 4. I'm curious to see what type of function will fit to its curve on xtol rep.

Hello;
I would figure that 8 minutes would be a good starting point at 72 degrees for replenished Xtol. Have fun shooting, Steven.
