Kearsarge 301 and 401: difference?

Does anyone know what are the differences between these two timers? I have the 301: basic digital timer without any type of memory. What makes the 401 different?

Never owned a Kearsarge but recently came across picture of a 401. Controls: Dimmer - ON/OFF, Volume - HIGH/LOW, Interval Audio - ON/OFF, Power - ON/OFF, SECONDS/MINUTES, TIME/FOCUS, CANCEL, START, 3 Program Knobs which seem to control time settings from 0 to 99.9 seconds to 0 to 99.9 minutes.

I don't see a difference from the 301 that I already have, except perhaps the Audio control. I have to check the 301, never heard a sound come from it . . .
