Just leave it to Chris to come up with an enlightening reply...

Dave, congrats. I'm envious. That Pressman looks pretty clean. Hope everything works. I've been looking for an affordable 4x5 kit, and that camera is on my list.

I've always thought Weegee used a black Anniversary Graphic.
Have I been mistaken? JD

Camera came, now I need------

The camera arrived today & it's even better looking than the pictures! Lens is clear, shutter seems fine, everything works as it should. NOW - What do I look for in a flash? The lens has the bi-pin connection, and the rangefinder has a metal plate that extends a bit beyond the rangefinder body. I assume this is where a flash would mount? Would a Graflite flash mount there? I'm thinking a flash using bulbs would be the way to go.

Yup using bulbs is downright FUN!and the punch they pack can be surprising:blink::blink::blink::cool:
Having said that, most of the time I use old Honeywell Strobonars,a 65A and a couple of 600's because the flash bulbs tend to be costly

here is a link to a "bulb" picture I've posted in some other thread on APUG

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)
