Hello, my name is Steve Nelson, and I joined APUG today. I can not believe I found a place where everyone is still using darkrooms and film, this is great. I am looking forward to talking and meeting people with the same interest in B&W photography. I live in Parker, does anyone else live close?:D

Welcome from New England! There must be lots of people in your area...

Hey dude! Welcome! I'm over in SLC- not too close, but not that far either!

Hi Steve,

Welcome weekdays from NYC and weekends from upstate NY (Copake) and also (when time permits) Tucson, AZ

As is often said about this site: "They shoot film, don't they?" :D

I'm here in Denver. There are a few of us around here, I don't recall anyone down there except for Grant (VoidoidRamone is his screen name) who was in Castle Rock and is now in college in New York. We have had a get together once here at the school where I work, and there has been talk of having another, but it hasn't happened yet.

I tell all my students about APUG, so I suspect that there are a few lurkers here as well.

Welcome!

Paul

Welcome from Cincinnati!!!! This is a wonderful place, and I can't say enough about the quality of the site and all of it's members.

Welcome Steve, from Melbourne, Australia. By the way, there is a whole separate forum, called "Introduce Yourself to the APUG Community" or something like that, so if you introduice yourself there, you will no doubt get a lot more welcome messages.

Welcome from Nevada ! There are quite a few Apuggers out your way...isnt Parker right in the Denver area? You will like it here, there is no other alternative!

Thanks....

Thanks everyone for all of the greetings. I will try to answer some of the questions, if you would like you can just call me Steve, the analog was a twist on the type of camera I use, plus I am not very good at picking, usernames, also as I get on ib years it is hard to remember these things, what was I doing, oh yeah, yes Parker is just south and east of Denver, 20 mins., thanks again for all of the hello's.sn:smile:

Hello

Welcome Steve!
I live in Castle Rock, and shoot mostly in the mountains.
I do the whole color darkroom thing.
Maybe we will meet at one of the get-togethers.

Hi Steve,

Welcome from Hawaii. It is a long way from Parker, but if it makes you feel any better, I grew up in Colorado Springs.

But I didn't study!

Welcome from sunny southern california.

Say, looking to find good places to ski during holiday break. What's a good non-touristy town in Colorado that I can ski (affordably).

Thanks for the welcome, as far as skiing, all the ski towns are touristy, the
best to go as far as price is Winter Park, most of the resorts have gone over board as far as price, they are very proud of their slopes. Thanks again,sn
