... and I was considering pumping it out. Perhaps some burgundy leather like the annniversary model?
500c with waist level, matching 120 back, and the newer 80mm T*.

I was more partial to dark blue leather.

I am sure you will love yours as much as I love my 501C. I wanted one for 30 years, finally could afford to get one last year.

It was not a christmas gift. I bought it from my father in law who will probably sell his 500cm and rz outfits next since he has retired from shooting @ age 85.

Dont pimp it out like a ricer. Hassy's have class.

I did not. I really like the dark blue version they made a few years ago.

Rather than say "Hassy's have class.", Hasselblads define class.

A hassy is a camera that is meant to be used and put anything on it that will help you do that. I just received some GripTac from Cameraleather. It definitely improves the handling, but doesn't do anything for the looks like any dark leather. I considered the dark green, but went for the Griptac instead.

Black or a medium brown/dark tan, if you're resolute about *pimping* it out.

That typo was unfortunate. (Cursed smart phones.)
I'm thinking that I'd probably prefer the maroon leather like the anniversary edition.
Yes, I agree that blads define class. I drive a 95 E320.
The first pics that I shot with it (yet to be developed) were of a late 40s Lincoln H class
that is unfortunately sitting and rusting. So if you know anyone who wants to do some
classic restoration, PM me with their contact info. No charge. Just hate to see something nice rust away.
