My Jobo reels are white. And I prefer them over the Patterson's. I find the ratchet thing on the pattersons hard to load. For the Jobo's I angle trim the leading corners of the film with snub nosed scissors in my changing bag, and simply push them in. I put my index and middle finger of my left and on the film against the reel where it loads in, and push the film in with the right hand when the left hand is released. Grip with left hand, pull with right to free up more film, release with left, push with right. I can load a reel of 35mm in about 5 seconds. 120 in about 10. When loading 2 120s, I load it in as far as I can like above, then simply find the tail edge of the film and push it around until it stops, snap in the red thing, and do the next one.
