I too tend to end up with printing logs like "12 bars 4/4 Andante ma non troppo burn top left corner 4 bars Moderato lower center 3 bars."

Another Analyzer user here, so the s.light goes off while measuring. I guess I've gotten used to it toggling back and forth.

I use it for my stereo in the darkroom. Because I don't want the evil metal music to distract the light falling on the paper. After the enlarger turns off the metal starts again and gently agitates the trays.

I use it, but I couldn't tell you why (I check my safelight every so often and it is well and truly safe!)! 'cos it's there probably...

If it irritated me then I'd just stop using it.
