Noting the similarity of van dyke and cyanotype processes has anyone ever experimented with combining the two, as in mixing the sensitizers together or coating one on top of the other? How about coating one on top of a finished print of the other and printing using registration techniques?

Quite interesting that the van dyke bleaches the cyanotype. I wonder if a blended sensitizer will even work? I’ll have to wait untill my supplies get in to experiment. The parts for my uv box upgrade are at least a week out.
That example has the van dyke on top of the cyanotype, of course Im going to have to try that the other way around and see what happens.

Lots of cyanotype over platinum (and I assume palladium), too.

I am guessing silver nitrate does a double displacement with ferric ferro to silver ferro (white) and ferric nitro.
