Well, the original and very comprehesive JoboUSA site is gone. A search of Omega-Satter's site showed 0 results and there's no mention of Jobo anywhere. The Jobo site was truly outstanding and will be a hard act to follow. Who knows what Omega-Satter's plans are now that they are the official US distributer of Jobo products? Time will tell.
 
You can still access the old data on the Internet Archive site. Go to www.archive.org and enter the web address. It will display all the saved versions of the site broken down by date. Obviously, it will not be updated any more, but at least you can still get to the info that used to be there.

I talked to the JOBO folks, they said the distribution corporation is out of buisness.

I don't quite understand the problem. The iternational site has at least as much, if not much more, documentation--- all in nice PDFs. Only real "missing" item is the old Jobo Journals and the last new issue was some years ago.
 
Looks similar to the old Jobo USA site and has the back issues of the Quarterly available as well.

Bottom Line, are Jobo products still being produced and sold in USA? I ask because B&H does not even list the 3006 or 3010 expert drums, but Freestyle lists the 3010 as "out of stock, due in Dec 27....".....How do they know exactly when products will arrive, or is this some type of bait practice? Thanks

Hopefully they will get going again once Omega/Satter is up and running as the new distributor. As for Freestyle, I am certain that they expect them at that time and have been informed of that date from the distributor. My experience is that they are pretty good with these estimates when they post them. Freestyle is totally legit and I am confident that they expect them at that time. Hopefully Omega/Satter will be able to deliver them as expected.

Paul, thanks, yes, I've ordered from Freestyle quite a bit actually. I've been looking for the 3010 drum that holds 10 4x5 without success (except for the success of people on Ebay who sell them used for more than retail!). Supply and demand I guess, kind of like the run on films and Rodinal... Tom in Seattle

JOBO products are still being produced in Germany as always. OmegaSatter is the distributor for USA. Look at http://www.jobo-usa.com/ to read exactly that...

All the information is available from JOBO International.
 
Gee ! http://www.jobousadarkroom.com/ is gone too.

I can't find the Jobo quarterly archives on the international jobo website (http://www.jobo.com/web/index.php?id=125index.html).
I can't restore the pages through the time machine either.(www.archive.org)
For reference, they used to be available there: http://www.jobousadarkroom.com/jq/

Has anybody got any idea whether the Jobo quarterly are available anywhere online?


They were a great reference resource for jobo owners, that would be a shame they'd diseapeared into an oblivion.

Go to `Service´ and then to `Analog Service´ and then you'll find a great lot of technical information.

Though I don't know what you are looking for.
 
It was a publications put out by Jobo USA. They used to provide plenty of in house information.
 
Nick is correct. It used to be a quarterly newsletter containing interviews, information and processing advice for jobo users.
The archives of the newsletter were moved to http://www.jobousadarkroom.com/ . I cannot see them against the analog section of the international site.

I wish I had saved copies at the time, it is a pity to see them disappear.
