Has anyone here ever seen or used the Jobo ULF film drums. The Adorama website lists these as the Jobo 3027 (for 11x14), and the 3028 (for 16x20). These seem to be no longer available new. Know where I can find one or two?

Secondly, I sure would appreciate hearing comments from anyone who has done dip 'n' dunk processing of 11x14" film. What were some of your difficulties? What equipment did you use? Any hints or tips? If you did several sheets at once, how did you wash them adequately without scrathing them?

Thanks for any input.

Christopher,

I just started shooting 11x14 myself and found that developing the negatives in a jobo 2800 series tank works very well.

Christopher,

I use the 3027 drum with the plastic insert for 11x14. It works very well. Unfortunately, the inserts are no longer made. There have been one for two for sale on ebay over the past couple of years, but they went for a lot of money. When I get some time, I'm going to fabircate another one just as a backup. The trick will be duplicating the hold-down tabs so that I don't end up with uneven development. That is not a problem, in my experience, with the Jobo supplied insert. I've tray processed 11x14 in the past, but prefer not to do that.
