Hi all,

I have an opportunity to buy a (like new) Jobo TBE2 from someone who knows nothing about it. Even then, he outsmarts me about the Jobo.

I would like to know which Jobo tanks I could use in the TBE2 - it would be great if I could develop more than one roll in one session.

I hope to hear from you. Thanks.

The TBE is a tempering tank. It is not really well suited to film development except that one of the inserts accomodates a developing tank used fro regular inversion processing. Therefore, I don't think it would be useful for more than a roll or two of film for manual processing.

However, it is very useful for tempering solutions that are used in the CPP/CPA processors. I use mine to temper chemicals for use in BTZS tubes for 4x5 sheet film.

I sucked it up and bought one new several years ago but they are quite expensive, even used. A DIY model consists of a platic tub with an aqaurium heater.
