I just got my CPA2 up and running, but there is this little annoyance that every minute or so, the alternation of rotation direction will stop, so it just keeps on going one way. Somehow the little white plastic "chicken foot" is pushed in a downward direction, so it is not "caught" again (if that makes sense). I then manually rotate the chicken foot back in position and the alternation works until next time it drops.
I have tried tensioning the screw that holds the chicken foot, but this does not seem to fix the problem.

Any input is very welcome!
Thanks.

Tighten the screw in the hub of the gear that rotates the chicken foot. Solved my problem on my CPE-2.

There are many who do use the Jobo without changing the direction of rotation. The former owner may have used it that way. Search here and the LF Forum for threads discussing that.

If you don't already have a manual this may be useful. I found the site a little confusing. Be sure to scroll down all the way to find topics of interest.

Rotate the chicken foot and then it will work properly.
