hello people help me! i have buoght a jobo comparator 2....when the instruction tell me for entry the paper grade : point to the darkest area of the projected negative to determine the paper grade...

i should point on the whites on the print?? i m considering the negative, and the darkest area for the negative is the WHITES in print.....

thanks

They're talking about the projected (negative) image. You measure the light areas (dark in the print) for the shadow density. Then move the sensor to the darkest area of the projected image (light in the print) to get the recommended paper grade.
