Hi Tom
ATL controlls the volume of the transported chemistry. So you will find the following important points: Airpump is working fine? Airtubes well fitted? Chemistry-Bottles fine closed? Please look for good rubberfittings by all Bottles

and sorry for my language, I speak and write good in german

Kindest regards
Hermann

jobo error message air diffuser failure - end manually

Hi,

I use a jobo ATL 2000, and recently during it's start up checks the display flashed this error message.
'air diffuser failure - end manually'

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

thanks
simon

Use the service menu; turn off the processor, then press (F1+START+ON), test the parts you think that can be involved, exit.
That should have solved it, if you don't have holes or leaks in your tubing.

I am having the same issue. Jobo directed me to enter into the service menu and reset the distribution plate... however when I do F1+START+ON it wont let me enter into it. It just continually gives me the error. Can someone please help!?

Obrigado pela sua resposta. Fiz algum progresso nessa questão e espero escrever algo antes de segunda-feira.

Hi Tom, can you help me? I have a problem with my ATL 2300, air diffuser faulty end manually, what can i do?
Cumprimentos
Ricardo.

Hello Ricardo,

I made a couple of videos when I had this problem which you can see below:

https://tomkershaw.com/files/jobo_atl2300_diffuser.mov

https://tomkershaw.com/files/jobo_atl2300_diffuser_part2.mov

As you will see the 'air diffuser' message in this case at least seems to relate to the stiffness of the chemical waste arm position, which I work through in the videos. Unfortunately due to numerous reliability issues I no longer have the ATL-2300, having replaced it with a CPP-3. The ATL is a great unit when working though so good luck.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for your kind answer, in my case i don't think os the arm position, the pump don't start and the chemical Wast arm don't answer the service keys.
I don't know where i start to find the issue.
Best regards.
Ricardo.

Hello Ricardo,

As I've not used the ATL-2300 for about 5 years or so (possibly longer) my memory on this is slightly hazy. I did however get some good advice from http://darkroomdoctor.com - via e-mail - even though I'm in the UK and he is based on the west coast of the USA. It may also be worth your while trying on the Large Format Photography forum as I think there are a few Jobo ATL owners there. - https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/

Just respond in case anyone face this problem and don know how to do,can just ask me

@czygeorge I think anyone who comes across this thread with a similar problem would appreciate it if the solution is explained here
Your offer is very kind, but what happens if someone contacts you a few years from now and you're no longer in a position or willing to answer any queries? It'll be more effective if the solution is here to begin with! Thanks
