I've recently picked up a Jobo ATL2200, after using a CPE2 for about a year or so. I'm mostly doing 3 Bath E6, and less regularly 3 Bath C41. The main objective is labour saving, ie I can load a days film, pop in some chems and leave it going.

Few questions seem to come up. My first run gave me a noticeable (but not huge) purple shift. I'm trying to work out what seems to be going wrong
- I have a Jobo 4167 with a CLAGE header attached. This is basically a mixing unit with a hot water tank attached, as far as I can work out.
The mixing tap is referred to as thermal in a number of places, but as far as i can see its a static ratio. My cold water pressure is best described as.. variable.. hence with this is it actually possible to get an accurate wash water temp?
If not, I guess something +-5C, then using the second chemical bottle as a temperature controlled water step before colour developer would do a lot to stabilise temperature?

- Bottles have been left for a couple of years and have a lot of crud. I've run a lot of wash cycles. Wouldn't mind removing them and giving them a good clean. Has anybody actually done this on the newer units?

- Temperatures seem to be about +1C. Has anybody recalibrated an 2x00? There are instructions for ATL3, but I'm not sure if these apply to a 2x00.

- Prewash - I've always prewashed my E6 in the CPE2. The ATL program skips this step. Are others happy with this?

Thanks in advance

Jobos were made to run +1-ish to compensate for the drum temp.

It is possible to set a prewash in 2200. Go to the menu, press F1 and Return at the same time and again a return.
Scroll down with the arrowkey to the first prewash (position #6) then return and set your time, arrowkey up/down go to next line wirt return.
Back to normal position press twice F1.
