Hi All, I have recently acquired a Jobo ATL-1500 processor that has a problem. The water does not heat at any setting. I have checked the element and that seems okay (66 ohms) and have tried it with 2 control panels. Any ideas on the possible cause please?

Thanks Dave in the UK

Do you run it on 230V? I think there's an option to run it on 12V where it does not heat up.

Is the water jacket filled up all the way? Or the water won't heat. Fill until the water is just above the fill line and make sure the unit is level. The sensor could be dead of course.

Do you have the manual and the service manual?

Good luck!

Yes the unit is running on 240v and yes it is filling properly and level.

Dave

I don't think that is the full service manual as there is no pcb layout for the main board !

Cheers Dave

ALL SORTED: The problem was badly corroded spade terminal posts on the main pcb feeding the heater !
