Jobo 70 mm film processing reel

I just picked up a Jobo 70 mm processing reel, the one that takes 15 feet of film. The tank that it came in doesn't appear to be made for processing film in. What Jobo tank does this reel fit.? I have a CPE 2+ processor.

This isn't even remotely what the OP is asking about, this is a hand inversion tank that will not fit into the Jobo processor, this requires 2L of chemistry, it's a great tank as I own it, but not what the OP is asking about.

OK, so it's taken me a while to figure that out in metric, it's something like 23 cubic litres so. Sounds a bit big for a 2500/2800 size tube, maybe it fits in a 3000 Expert drum?
It also looks old, so it probably pre-dates the 2500/2800/3000 series.
I've got some old gear, like a 2200-drum that only does 9x12s and not 4x5s, it looks a bit in that vein.
What you're probably looking for is the pre-Expert 3000 series of the same era as the 2200-series, whatever that was called. Where's Omer when you need him?

Thanks Duncan for this info. For me there is just one problem. The CPE 2+ can't handle these tanks. So I will have to do the old manual rol back and forth on a tabletop. Does anybody know if the 70 mm tank is available anywhere.

Just run out there and buy the new Jobo CPP-3 for a mere $3299.99US. Not only will you stimulate the economy, but also you will help Jobo amortize the development and start up production costs. You will be such a great guy and everyone in APUGland Jobo will appreciate you. Jes' sayin' :munch:

They do show up, that reel only fits in the 3000 series tank it was designed for, it doesn't fit in the normal tanks.

It will cost you about $350-$400 for a tank, reel, and reel loader which is really the only way to load it without skipping.

The Nikkor tanks are easier if you can find them, $350 is what I paid for mine.

I'm selling all my 70mm gear including my Nikkor daylight tank, the Mamiya RB67 70mm back, and the hard to find Alden 70mm bulk loader.

I have a potential buyer for the tank and back but throwing it out there since you're in the market. Also 70mm film of course
