Hello everyone,
This could be a silly question... But I want to be sure about it.
When I use a 1520 drum in rotary processor with a 1530 attached, I must use 240ml + 330ml of chemicals right?

Please see the photo bellow:

Many thanks

I would like to add another Jobo-tanks related question:

Why need tanks 1510 and 2540, equivalent in being single-reel tanks, both 140ml bath in rotation?
One idea behind the more narrow windings reels was to need lesser bath (though the existant difference in other cases is small anyway.)

You can use 600ml of solution, which will allow for any slight variation from dead flat. With 570ml you are guaranteed to cover all film only if the processor is perfectly flat. There is a very slight error factor built in with the 570ml figure, but with the extra 30ml taking you up to 600ml you should be sure all of your film will be covered and be developed properly.

Ilford sold 600ml B&W developing kits in countries where Jobo were strong, specifically for this tank combination. I myself developed many rolls of film in my Jobo CPE2 processor with this combination and using 600ml of solution.

And if you installl the tank by magnet at its bottom and put on the cap, overfilling is no issue anway.
