It's been a while since I regaled you with one of my infamous pages of pictures!

Just when you thought it was safe.....he strikes! You know the drill, take 5 minutes
if you're mildly interested in antique lenses / fuzzy pictures. The ones I did Saturday AM last are some of the finest I've produced. BTW, the first 3 were done with normal lenses before I made my discovery....

....my new Secret Weapon Lens!

I hope you'll let me know what you think! Good or bad! I can take it :D :D

Jim,

I seriously wonder if you do this to entice people to buy what you dig out the lens mine you have. If so, I am enticed. Thank goodness I am broke.

I like the spider-grass one, but the others are approaching the "out-of-focus for artsiness' sake" type of photography that doesn't appeal to me too much. YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR JIM. Come back to The Sharp Side. At least a wee bit.

JIM I FN LOVE THE BAMBOO SHOTS! HOW MUCH FOR A PRINT?

i see why you cant put a price on the lens. Things like this are cool cause theres no way to reproduce the results. Certainly no tripod-walkers allowed here!

Yes - and indeed they are very wonderful photos - how much is the lens and how much is the artist - I put my bet on the eye of the artist - very well seen and interesting tools to achieve the results.

That African Violet negative looks like it would make an amazing lith print. It is terrific! Cheers, Richard

I'm picturing mass computer melt downs with people trying to duplicate what a $5 1933 lens could do. Making me feel warm all over
