Japanese tools/supplies outside Asia, hard to get??

I think it's a shame because there should be a lot of useful tools available in Japan, especially for camera repairs, and in my experience the quality of Japanese products is good.

Well-known for its flat rubber blower during 1980s, almost all photographers would have 1 in their bags. Besides they make numerous quality accessories especially the Air-driven shutter release cable, rain cover and etc. The lens suckers are the best partner.

Kanto Camera
Maker of the MR-9 battery adapter (1.55 ->1.35V) and also others . The adapter is not cheap but it can help you to keep the original meter setting without modification . The adapter is best working with silver oxide battery but also workable with alkaline .

Hozan Tools
One of the real excellent tool makers in Japan. Their products are not cheap but very reliable. I have the tweezers, anti-static blower, alcohol dispenser , and the precision oiler.

Engineer
The worn screw extractors (the piler and the bits). If possible , try it with the rust remover (ZC-28) would be the most effective .
