Jammed shutter on K1000

So a friend of mine had a Pentax K1000 with a jammed shutter/advance lever I was able to fix thanks to the help of the below thread(post #6 in particular):
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Amazing help and knowledge here as usual... but my question is, should I follow up this repair with any light lubricating or anything else?

I'm pretty sure my friend acquired this body already jammed up, and I could see no apparent cause of the problem, but I'd love to keep this body functional for at least a few more rolls... or longer! This body definitely could use some new light seals and mirror bumper foam, but the bumper isn't quite as bad as I have seen before and does not seem to affect the mirror's return... at least not yet.

Any tips and comments are greatly appreciated as always!

It's not likely that you have access to anything needing lubrication from the bottom.
The bottom pivots for the curtain rollers may be visible/accessible but anything else on the bottom
would need just a tiny dab of the correct grease.

The oils used are typically clock oils anything heavier will mess it up.

Replacing the foam takes less than an hour and Jon Goodman is the go-to guy. Around $10. Well worth doing when you have a spare hour. Even if he doesn't keep the camera, the next owner will thank him.

Yeah, I should probably replace the foam for him, I doubt he will.
