Sure, unless top secret it belongs to the people.

A Flikr resource DOES exist and claims to be growing.....I was waaay wrong...big ignorant OOPS.

A little browsing suggests that most of the images are B&W.

I hope to find that most work of the last few decades was done with Ektachrome E3 / E4/ E6

The free availability of fine photographic images produced for the government is a often overlooked treasure. Compare Timothy O'Sullivan's Ancient Ruins in the Canyon de Chelle, New Mexico with the ones that Ansel Adams took from almost the exact same site almost 70 years later. I like the print from the fairly large digital file downloaded from the Library of Congress more than the reproductions in books of the Adams versions.

Anytime you see the word "government".....substitute the Concept/Phrase... "Us, Ours,That We Own".
