I tried to order this film the other day and received an e-mail stating that this film is discontinued! I asked if John is going to have a replacement. This was a cheap 8x10 film that was ok and I know that some of us here used it. Does anyone else know what is going on with this film? Thanks

Jim

I would contact them directly about it to avoid unfounded rumors. I know that they are moving locations, but this is the first I've heard of this film being discontinued. I use it too, and like it.

Well if it "is" gone, I guess I'll have to go back to shooting paper negatives. Crap!

Randy, the e-mail WAS from J&C telling me that this film was discontinued! This would then not be a rumor. I hope I'm not confused on this, but if it is true then we have lost a nice film that was available at a great price.

Jim

John sold quite a bit of this during his recently advertised sale, a healthy supply ended up here in the Nevada desert:D So he apparently sold out all his remaining stock in the sale and it is of course possible that it is now discontinued, especially if John has mentioned it. It will be interesting to see the new products available at J and C when John returns from Cologne! Oh boy Oh boy:smile:

If that is so, then I would say that it is gone. I would, however, expect that John is searching for a replacement film - he is very didicated to film users.

maybe you should keep them in a bank vault LOL.............
