Thanks for the information on how you agitate. What times and what developer dilution would you recommend for Pyrocat-HD with the agitation scheme you outlined above?

I have data on semi-stand agitation for several films but not for BPF. However, I believe that you should get as much contrast as BPF is capable of giving (and you need all of it for printing on AZO #2) with a 5:3:300 dilution of Pyrocat-HD and a developmenet time of 30-45 minutes at 72º F. I would tend to go for the 45 minutes since more time will just increase overall density a bit -- it can not actually increase CI with BPF much beyond what you need, irrespective of how long you develop.

Sandy, Any updates on your technique of uncapped PVC tubes in developer drum? Do you use fiberglass screen backing when you insert the film?
