I am truly chuffed to be the first to welcome you back...

lots of things. not anything i'd rather get into around here at least.

decided to dust off some of my old equipment, even expand my existing Canon FD collection a bit. found out there were still a few camera stores (and a lab!) open in my region. now to decide where/how to hone my skills....in the meantime i'm doing some microforming with a letter/A4 copy stand and some clip lights mounted to a tripod, to eventually clear up some space in cramped closet (!)......but none of my lenses can focus that closely on just the stand itself, and my tripod seems a bit too light to keep the camera from shaking between exposures

the recent industry news is quite a trip i'd say, also a wee bit encouraging to say the least....quite interesting the reversal where if i want images soon, i should do B&W since i have the chemicals at hand
