The plumbers are here cutting up my garage floor to lay the water lines for my new darkroom.

Man this is noisy!!

But I cannot wait. I will have the walls up by the weekend and all the painting etc done in 10 days or so.

I am so excited.

I am sooo jealous! A dedicated darkroom must be heaven. I still have to convert the spare room to print. That's at least a 1/2 hour wasted.

Good luck with the venture.

Hi David,
Congratulations on your soon to be darkroom; you must be excited. I was glad to see you have a website now, or at least created the link.

My darkroom is my garage. Cold in winter, but otherwise a nice (and roomy) space to work in. Good luck, and post more pics when it's finished. Dean

Well I have a heating/ac duct just inside the house which I will be re-routing to heat and cool the darkroom/studio (former garage).

Right now the duct is facing the cat box in the laundry room. I am sure the cats won't mind if their bathroom is no longer heated.

Today the guys laid all the lines and hooked up the sink. I'll be at home depot on thursday buying 2x4's and sheetrock as well as all the counter top.

Okay so the lines are in and the sink is almost connected.

We're getting there.

Congrats David!!! Poor cars art feeling estranged I bet. I'm happy tro report also that my darkroom only lacks the ceilng electrical outlets to be installed. The wiring is there but they forgot to put the outlets in. Everything else is done! My wife wonders how it is those 2 rooms got done so quickly and the rest the place is so far behind. I even got to shoot some art today for the first time in 5 months! I really missed it but boy, Was I out of sink. I guess the brain need to excersize to stay in shape.
Congrats David and make great ART!

Wow! it looks like it's going to be BIG! Just how big will it be? I've got all my stuff packed in a 2.5 * 1.4m space in my garage. I'm dead jealous.
Hope you enjoy it when it's up and running.

Cheers

Well the plumbers done and the sink is working as it should.

Now it's time to head to home depot for cabinets, drywall, and paint.
