I have a Nikon F100 with a Nikon ED 28-200 25-5.6 G lens. When I use the pair for landscape photography, the lens takes a long time to auto focus, and then starts seeking to focus again. I have a lot of experience with Nikon AI film cameras/lenses, and I'm kinda new to this autofocus technology.
Is the 28-200 G a dog of a lens? Do I have a bad copy? Any advise is appreciated.
