Hello all,
I'm quite happy with my M4 and the lenses I have for it. I ruined my first 3 films as, after rebuilding the darkroom, there were some copper dust in the piping, and now I have copper plated negatives
BUT.... I fear I may have an issue with my 90 Hexanon as it is my only lens for which the RF will not align the two images at infinity. The marked distances seem OK (in agreement with a tape meter, and with the Planar 50), but infinity looks like the lens need more "throw" to properly align the images.
The body will go for a CLA as I'm afraid it didn't enjoy any for it's first 45 years, and I plan to send the 90 with it, but I'm looking for possible causes and wondering if I should return it to the seller?
