It's for the RZ67PROII and pre AF 645pro so that won't be a problemwhy not?
just one question... is that cable release a multi position switch? push half way to auto focus, the all the way in to fire?
if you do make your radio fire remote it wont auto focus so manual set up will be required first.
google wireless remotes n see if you can find one for your camera or something you can adapt?
That adapter remark...... LIKE ALOTShould be doable. You might also consider getting a Mamiya adapter for a regular mechanic release cable instead. Open up the adapter (just small screws) and solder the radio release cable onto the contacts in the adapter. The adapter is probably much cheaper than another electrical cable release. There's no electronics inside/involved. For Paul Ron, this release is only for the manual Mamiya's. The 645AF series have a different round connector. It has a half way contact for the meter in the AE prisms but that would no longer work with the proposed setup.

Didn't think of that maybe I could get someone to measures it....hmmmI took apart the Mamiya manual plunger to 645Pro/RZ adapter and all it is is a contact between two pins. So, I do actually think this might be possible if the quick momentary of the wireless trigger is long enough for the body to pick it up. If not, maybe a capacitor is needed.
Say WHAT?? how did that escape my search?Mamiya made a wireless release for the RZ so it's definitely doable...
