Is this Changing bag large enough for LF?

I sell anti-static cotton material changing bag on eBay for a good few years. Have been pressed by some returned buyers for an even larger size and on APUG on this thread:
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)
I turned to my supplier and ordered a batch of special made bags of 75X75cm. Would it be large enough for LF, to which size film you think?

what's that 30"x30"? How high? You need tto open the film box inside the bag. You'll have the film holders open with the darkslides pulled. It all adds up.

You still see some bags aimed at mini-labs on Ebay every so often. I think these things are big enough to stick a roll of paper in when you work on the machine. Too heavy and bulky to travel with I guess.

I bought a few months back one of your changing bags (it is very nice!!), I use it for changing 5" x 4" darkslides and have no problem at all. Its just a case of practice and being organised, of course the bigger the better but the one I have does me fine.

On the other hand I bought a Patterson 27" x 30" for changing 10" x 8" darkslides and although it gets me by, it is hard work and a larger size would make life so much easier.

One thing that occurred to me having used both bags is that a bigger bag with an internal frame to form a 'chamber' giving freedom of movement within might prove useful, how practical this is to do I'm not sure - well it was only a thought.

Ive also had your "large" bag for 4x5 and loading 120 onto spools for a while and ive found its plenty big for that.

I agree with John about a tent style, the ones on the market today are out of my price range. If you manage to make one about the same base area of your current bags at a resonable cost i would get one for shure.

If John can get parterson 27”X30” for 10X8, I would guess this 30X30” will be okay (merely?) I

Tent would be more bulky and costly. But there will be a hybrid of tent+bag coming in next few months for your review marcuspajp.

I too would be interested in a tent-style bag at that size for field use for changing my 5x12 and 8x10 holders.

You need to open the triple boxed film and then close it back up. Structure won't hurt but it needs to have some head room. If I'm explaining it right.

I think 30x30 is pretty close the smallest that might handle an 8x10 holder with the slide pulled and a box of film. Even so like John mentioned it's got to be tight.

Resurrect this topic. As promised here is the poorman’s Harrison tent (Poor only in terms of the cost, not the quality).

P.S. There are a few users reported that 30X30 changing bag is very comfortably fit for 4X5. May I declare it as a serious contender to Harrison Pup (This bag costs less than a third to Harrison’s, both ebay recent transaction price.)

Mine is a little smaller than 75x75cm, and I can easily change film in 8x10" holders (with a little practice and good planning).
