Hey guys. I had some old film laying around from an eBay auction and I used a film, Fuji Super HG 400, that I never used before or heard of. So I'm just curious if there is anything special or great about this film?

I used to use this film in the '90s for a while. I think it's a predecessor of the Superia line or a cheaper film that ran alongside it. From memory, the film I used to buy from the local high street chemist changed from Super HG 400 to Super G+ to Superia Reala 400 to Superia 400.

It's a little grainy and not nearly as good as the current products. Dye clumping is more noticeable too. It is a second-generation emulsion product.
