One of the left-leaning US magazines had an article on the republican party taken entirely on a Holga to indicate being out of touch.

i forget his name, but a couple of years ago I saw a picture in newsweek that just screamed "HOLGA" and it was shot in combat in Afghanistan. I checked around and found him on a Holga chat list and he confirmed that he uses a holga while covering the war as well as lesser cameras.

I thought I saw a comparison on here between a Hasselblad and a Holga actually, and the guy was saying that the center of the image from the Holga was as sharp as the Hasselblad

Haha I would love if that were true, then I could really make fun of Hassy owners for spending too much, now if they would only compare Leica's to Holga's that would be the ultimate burn! haha

hah, keep in mind I said just the center though. the plastic lens is surprisingly sharp where it wants to be.
