If you can afford it - then buy it. Not important is it GF670, or Leica, or iPhone ... all those items are expensive, but if you can afford it - life is too short, be happy and enjoy beautiful items that you desire, and make nice pictures. Simple as that.

In the end, of course, if the tool you're using produces the results you need, then by all means use that tool. If you don't need what the 1DX provides that's above what the 7D and 6D do, you don't need it and it is wasted money. But there are obviously a large number of pro sports photographers who feel they do need that above and beyond, and are willing to spend the money. And there are also a large number of wannabes with fat bank accounts who view the "top of the line" as a status accessory and buy it even though they will never use the capabilities they're paying extra for.In business the price is never irrelevant. I shot sports for a living with an 7D and a 6D not a 1DX because my clients were happy with the results. Certainly the 1DX was a more powerful tool but there was no reason for me to spend the extra money.

Spending money just because you can spend it is not a particularly healthy habit to get into. Look up the car Warren Buffet drives.
I consider my cameras strictly as tools with the only question being if the tool has a benefit in line with the price.
In this thread I ask if there is really that much of a benefit of getting a GF670 vs the GW670 at more than twice the price.
It's not necessarily a matter of if I can afford it or not.

Just look at 'em! How can they not be worth buying????

Apparently Warren Buffet uses a Cadillac XTS. Then again, he could be driving a 20 year old Honda, will still take him from A to B.
That's all a red herring though. The OP was asking to compare a Fuji 6x7 rangefinder to a Fuji 6x7 rangefinder, not 120 to 35mm or Bronica to Hasselbald.
It really is a good idea to get your hands on potential choices first. Ergonomics can be highly personal.

Very very true. I never would have bought the GF670W had I not held it in my hands first. Once I did however, the chance of me not buying one was almost zero.
Ditto. That’s why different kinds and models are made. When I sold cameras, I would ask the customers how the cameras felt in their hands. If a camera is too large or too small for your hands you will never be happy with it or use it. The only hands that matter is your hands.
