The shot of the rose is a great pic.
I think it's also great that you know the name of what you're shooting. That little bit of info adds to the short experience of viewing an image. It makes you remember it IMO.
Film cameras, especially TLRs and anything with bellows always get attention.
I'm planning on taking out my Goerz Anschutz 5x7 in the street and seeing what comments I get when I start shooting :wink:

I shoot similar cameras you do but get comments more along the lines of "Nice camera!", "Old camera, huh? Gorgeous!", "That's a film camera, eh? Cool."

I get that sometimes from folks as well - a sort of respect for the old school. More often than not I get asked if my Rollei is a brownie camera though.
