Your right to voice your opinion has been reconized.

Keeping a separation between one's opinion and fact is the tough part... 😎

That and my spelling...it's contagious...

But you mentioned it first, apparently as a badge of how good your photo must be.

You're wrong. Scroll back. Someone found a picture taken in the same room, presumably to point out how stale and unoriginal my shot was. That was the first mention of Flickr.

Since I originally posted, I've learned a bit about this group. Clearly, I've wandered into the wrong forum by mistake. But when I was googling around, I saw something from your "ethics and philosophy" board. Aha, I thought, just the place to post my question.

Yet another lesson, as if I needed it, that first appearances are often deceiving.

For a question of ethics, or art criticism, this kind of response is mild and relatively constructive. It’s surprising to me that you are surprised or offended. I learned a lot and so can anyone who is willing to depersonalize the responses and seek the nub of useful information offered. The internet can be a tough audience but life in general is a lot easier with a tough hide. Thanks for starting the conversation!
