Just now I tried one last time ....... visited the forum and clicked on a jpg link to a photograph in a post ...... Got the page saying ... you must be registered to view the photo ..........

Clicked on the " register " button and got the message " Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator " .

I got the same response every time I tried, so I gave up.

Hi all, sorry for the issue with the US addresses only.

I'll add a note to the membershp graphic as to the work around for our software's inadequacies.

If you're unable to use our online form & you'd like to join F295, you can send a payment of $10 to admin@f295.org via paypal w/ a note that says "F295 forum activation" and an email with your username & temp. password will be emailed to you.

Thanks

Best,
Tom

"Not everyone uses facebook. Any website that required me to sign in w/ that, which I refuse to have, can live w/o me".

Well, so much for that philosophy. I finally set up a phony facebook account. Now I can fritter away hour after hour commenting on newspaper articles and online forums. You have to wonder why someone does this, and yet, I do. It's sorta like writing your thoughts in the sand and watching the sea come in and wash them away.

I've never actually logged into the facebook account since I set it up to ck anything (or since Jimmy Gabriel set it up, my facebook nom de plume), but they keep sending me these emails that say "Jimmy Gabriel, you now have 55 new notifications!" regularly. Sometimes it's only 30 notifications, or less. I would try harder to get those numbers up, but I don't have any idea what a notification is. Is it good to have a lot? Or is it better to have maybe only 1, or 2? If they're like tickets or fines or something, then I am screwed. Still, it's nice to hear from them.

You'll have to log into FB and change your notification settings to stop emailing you if it's annoying. I don't get any emails from FB.

Notifications can be friends who add you, people who comment on your wall (like a personal thread), friends birthday reminders. Stuff like that.

Good luck.
