Is Bergger Pancro 400 done, or just out of production again, for a long time?

And FYI, this film does NOT age well as it approaches its expiration date!

What happens in detail? Bergger Pancro 400 has a high base fog and low contrast even when fresh. Will these issues get worse, or do you expect another kind of detoriation?

The fog base increases significantly over age. I had some (refrigerated!) that was a year past its date and developed it, and the negs were as thick as sunglasses. They were unusable. As it ages, the curl problem becomes significantly worse as well. I mean, it never laid flat after processing anyway, even when fresh. It is also inclined to do the "wrapper offset" thing if stored at room temperature or higher.

I used to like it a lot, but since it's almost never available anymore I have moved back to Tri-X.
