The vast majority of Fujifilm's money comes from selling office supplies and copiers. Their pharmaceutical business is tiny.

Back in stock at B & H. I am putting in a very large order. My need for color film will be met for years.
Ilford/Harman announced their new US distributor this week and they will be distributing Ilford/Harman, Kentmere branded products as well as Paterson and Agfa Photo colour films.

As a Christmas present to myself, today I put in a very large order for Agfa Vista 200 film. Enough probably to last me 1-2 years unless I get hooked on this and become a primarily color shooter.
I wish they made this film in 120 size.

Lomography's rebranded Kodak Gold is I think the only 120 consumer film around ?

When I was in Italy several years back I found Superia 400 in 120 size. I shot a roll of that and was very happy with the results. I had never seen Superia in 120 size anywhere else in the world. Fujifilm is a bizarre company that simply is incapable of supporting film for the long term.
Would of loved to have tried that. Superia 400 is my 'standard' 35mm. Will be a shame if/when it goes completely as predicted by Bellamy Hunt. Seems as though Fuji are scaling back to just Pro 400h ?
In the meantime I need to find a reasonably priced seller of 35mm Natura 1600 so I can stock the freezer up

I think Fuji won't be making any non instant film in the next 5 years. They are clearly closing down as the years go by. Notice that they no longer make their public "commitment to film" speech that they used to after each discontinuation of a film. They always used to state that while this film was gone, their commitment is unchanged.
400H is a great film, one of my favorites. It just cost so much compared to Agfa's film.

Uh Fujifilm has already discontinued this film, hence the question. It is YOE who is making the inaccurate assumption.
Thoughts about the origin of this rumour...
1). Fuji make Agfaphoto 200. Some people thought it was Superia 200 which is discontinued so Agfaphoto 200 must be discontinued. (Of course as we know its actually Fujifilm C200, which is still on sale)
2). They read this on Nik & Tricks site 'It’s cheapo film that will soon be discontinued' https://ntphotoworks.com/shop/product/agfa-vista-plus-200-35mm-35exp-triple-pack/
3). They read this 2016 article on swiss site fotointern which acurately predicted the end of superia 200 a year in advance and which also states for C200 'Production Ended'.

This means end of coating, not end of stock so even if its true depending on how much is 'on ice' there may be a few years supply left still..(for example the original Agfa ( and Agfaphoto) APX was still being converted from frozen stock years after the closure of the Leverkusen plant in 2005 that made it, only switching to a new Harman film in 2012)
Of course Agfaphoto post Leverkusen is just a brand name these days operated by lupus imaging (used under licence from Agfa-Gevaert) so even if the fuji stock is gone, Agfaphoto 200 may still be available just made by Kodak...

Well, AgfaPhoto Vista is now history. B & H has listed it as discontinued (there's no stock). Japan Camera Hunter has published a well read blog page detailing the death of AgfaPhoto's cheap but very nice color print film. Fujifilm's exiting from all non INSTAX film continues unabated.

This has to be bad news for film. AgfaPhoto's color film was one of THE cheapest films out there. Even better, it was a particularly high quality film (it scans beautifully).
How is it that a low priced film can't survive in today's market?

I mentioned that in another Fuji thread. As I and another poster said there, I believe for now they are shutting down third party labels. There will only be Fuji branded Fuji films in single boxes. But at the price for Superia 400 I wonder if it will be a success.
When I started with film at the end of 2015 Portra 400 was only a little more expensive than Superia 400 now. I just checked at Foto Impex and Portra 400 is almost €9. The gap remains, but prices have shifted into pain territory.
I've been using C41 in 120 format, mostly, and it looks like I will keep on doing that. Of course it's all relative. For E6, while painful, I will pay the asking price. But slide gives me so much more...
I have a feeling that Fuji is just really emptying its warehouses from film.

Years ago the CEO of Fujifilm made frequent comments about their "commitment to film photography". We don't here that anymore. Not at all. Instead, it's one discontinuation after another. It seems beyond clear to me that Fujifilm wants to exit film production, as quickly as possible. Removing low cost films really seals it.

Yes it was - the original Vista anyway.
The latest incarnation was Fuji C200 C41 film identifiable by the same product code number close to the felt light trap. I used it quite regularly until about 3 months ago and the supply has just dried up. It was by far the cheapest C41 film available in UK. I have 3 x 36 exp cassettes left.

Why doesn't Agfa make film for AgfaPhoto? Seems like they could replicate the set up that K and KA uses.
Agfa only still is set up to make industrial film on poly base, and wonder if even that is still in place. They sold off the German plant so they could concentrate on industrial and Graphic arts stuff. THEN when Agfa photo ( the first version) went broke and sold off the trademark, they tried to get it back but could not. I would guess that they are not 100% on good terms with the current owners of the AgfaPhoto brand.
