I just shot my first roll of Agfa Vista 200 and really liked the results. I heard that this film is no more, since Fuji doesnt make it anymore. Is this true or just a rumor?

Thank you.

lt's being sold here by Ilford. About 7 years ago I saw Ilford branded colour films (C41) while in Istanbul, I should have bought 2 or 3 rolls while at the Turkish importer/distributor but the sent me around the corner to a sop with the Ilford LF film I was after.

What was the source? I see it listed on B&H.

You are right It asks if the customer wants to be notified when it is available but does say "more on the way" Was this what you were referring when you said you had heard this film is no more or is it a different source to which you refer?

Agfa Vista 200 was last manufactured 12 years ago.

Fuji recently discontinued all C41 films except 400H and Superia 400 so Agfa 200 must be on the way out.

There is no indication about this from Lupus Imaging. Is there any true to it or just wild speculation? Maybe BH just finished it's stock, it seems in stock here in Europe.

So the source is your own deduction from the above? It might be a correct deduction but might it not have been worth saying that the above has led you to think that Agfa Vista 200 is likely to be discontinued when current stocks run out. The "when" in terms of a date is unknown

"Hearing" something tends to imply what may be a rumour without any reliable source. We and no doubt this includes you have all seen such rumours which when investigated turns out to be the particular retailer's shop assistant who volunteered such a statement without substance.

The AgfaPhoto Vista which Poundland were selling at ÂŁ1 per film is no longer available, and they are not restocking (checked with the manager of my local store). I don't think that this infers anything, other than it was probably no longer profitable to sell at such a low price (and remembering the loss in value of the ÂŁ following the Brexit vote....).

Blue Moon has a bunch of Agfa Photo Vista, including the 200 speed.

AgfaPhoto Vista 200 is not Fuji Superia 200, but Fuji C 200.

I thought the industrial films were still being made? Please let me know so I can stock up if this is true.

Ok, good to know. My mistake. Fuji discontinued most of their C41 consumer films recently so I thought the Agfa film was gone too. I’m glad it is not.

But as with any Fuji discontinuation information, take it with a grain of salt, for the good or the worse...

Official published statement is the cancellation of their ISO 1600 film. Expected end of stock is spring next year.

Yes, that's pretty much what I was told too. I managed to get the last few remaining rolls in Hull a few months ago... It seems to be still available here on BrexitIsland, but now at a much higher price, about ÂŁ3.50 a roll.

Film available on Ebay does not tell me if it is still in production or not. This thread was to find out if Agfa Vista 200 was discontinued. I'm happy to learn from a response that this is not the case.

According to the Fujifilm EU website these are the films still being offered: https://www.fujifilm.eu/uk/products/analogue-photography/film

Agfa Vista 200 is Fuji C200 and this is still listed. There are stocks of other films still available (for example I bought some Superia 800 yesterday).

I have learned from the past that Fujifilm's web site is next to useless for information about their films. See any mention of Neopan Acros there? Nope.

Can you buy 160NS in the UK? Can't buy it in the US, nor could I buy it the last time i was in Japan!
