Any Apug members living in Ireland care to meet up for a day?

I noticed a few new Irish members joining Apug recently so it would be great to meet up and shoot some film.

Fintan has suggested a day out at Clonmacnoise which sounds good to me.

If you are interested, please let me know what dates you are free over the next month or two and we can choose a suitable location for everyone. Of course if the weather is bad we can always go to the nearest pub for a theory class.

Regards,
Peter

Definitely count me in.

Sundays would suit me best, but saturdays might also be possible. Anyone else?

Me too..

Sounds great..
Saturdays and Sundays would definitely suit better here too, although I have a few crazy weeks coming up, so will keep an eye on this thread to see when you all decide on..
Oh and can we still do the pub if it's not raining??

Yes I think we can include a session in the pub at the end of the day to review the days activities. A full day out photographing can give one a major thirst.:D

Hiya thefizz, Fintan, Síle

Sign me up... I'm travelling around a bit over the next couple of months, but no worries. If the date works, I'll trundle along!

dont be shy now :tongue::tongue::tongue:

now when do you think the last time anyone called me shy... that would have to be long before i developed my "noo yawker" attitude!!!

i won't be around apr 23 to may 2; away again in july (i think.. have to look at dates)... in the fall i'm hoping to go from tehran to ulan bator, but that trip depends on a lot things, like getting a visa to start! as i said, don't worry too much 'bout my dates, i'll just toddle along if i'm here.

Don't drink it all! I will be in Dublin in Oct. for a few days, and am dreaming of pints of Guinness.

Have a great outing.

We will do our best but cannot promise anything. If you would like to meet up for a pint when in Dublin, let us know. We could bring you on a tour of all the pubs, oops I mean tourist attractions.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm relatively new to APUG and have been lurking & reading. Before this I have spent most of my time on a Minolta User group list.

How would a Saturday or Sunday in May suit?

The first weekend in May is a bank holiday so I think we can forget about that but how about 12th/13th, 19th/20th or 26th/27th ?

Let me know which date suits you best.

How about Clonmacnoise ?

It would be nice to do this every few months so for those who have to travel the furthest this time, we can pick somewhere closer for you next time.

I wish I could join you guys, but sadly Dublin is in my past, not my future. Good luck getting an Irish group together, though, and best wishes for success!

When you do meet up, do the pub rain or shine.

Having never been to Clonmacnoise I would love it, and it's only about 2 hours drive from here so no big deal on the travel end.
The 12/13th or 26/27th would suit me best, either the Saturday or the Sunday both weekends.

Hopefully if we get this to work, we'll manage a few more before the year is out!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8707/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/125)

The 12th would suit me best and am happy with clonmacnoise.
