Who cares really. I’m selling any tree you can find in a forrest. Any tree you choose will be unique in the world, guaranteed.

I know nothing about this camera, but I know a lot about the xpan, the best camera ever. The beautiful thing about the xpan is that no matter its price, it always cheaper than it should be, as it’s the most marvelous piece of engineering in the photo world.

Well it has been reduced by an amazing $56,000 to $944,000 for clearance so it has to be a bargain surely? I'd buy 2 at this price but sadly this seems to be the only one for sale at that this bargain price. Still, you can't expect bargains to come along in sets of two, can you?

It is my local camera shop so it is a legit place. The price on the other hand. But still, I have a hard time taking it seriously. So, Maybe a mistype? But then they added at least two extra zeros.

Very simple camera to make. The hardest part would be to get know how much film to wind on, could pilfer something out of a medium format film back.

Walk in next time you are in town, say them my greatings and have a talk with them on that price.

The guys over here when asked by me on a certain surprising price on a camera in their shop window, responded: "The internet rage on this model is crazy, so we thought, let's just give it a try too."

Not really. It's 35mm, so it's sprocketed. "X" sprockets per frame. There's a 3D printed camera out there called the Brancopan, which while not nearly as snazzy as an XPan or a TX-1, does work to produce panoramic images on 135 film.

There are also 135W backs for various Bronicas, although the markup on them is almost as crazy as an XPan. In theory, the 135N (normal 35mm frame) backs can be modded to 135W as well.

A 6x9 film back will give you similar aspect ratio. You can use 35mm adapters. Wouldn't need to use the sprockets. I have a 6x9 Plaubel film holder that counts the film by turning the wind up spool, cant see any light leak problems caused by no backing paper its very compact. Wouldn't be hard to make a camera for it.

Maybe they really aren’t interested in selling but want to see how many people will be drawn to their website. Hoping once there they look at other items and maybe buy.

Went into the store toady and wow, they are serious about that price. I guess if you don't buy a ticket can't win the lottery.

Just wait until they start going after cameras like they've done with coins, stamps, ballcards, cars, and now video games.

All they need is some auction house to partner with a grading house and make it that cameras are 'sealed' and watch the prices hit insanity.
