Hi there!

I'd be really interested in experimenting in pinhole photography, for I beleieve it is a area that can leave much room to a fruitfull experimentation. My ultimate ambition would be that of building a camera of my own. The problem is I do not know where to start.
I'm looking for one or more trusted source to learn the basics, ideally one or more web site. Can you help me?

Thank you,
Marcello

The book from Eric Renner - Pinhole Photography: Rediscovering a Historic Technique has instructions on how to make one which is similar to the Leonardo model.
I recommend the book as an excellent source for pinhole photography.

I'm currently shooting a roll to test out the effective aperture f-stop of my pinhole. I used an Agfa Isola with the shutter, lens, lens tube etc. removed. Glued a lens cap on, cut a hole and taped my tinfoil pinhole to it. Using a bit of black tape for a shutter. My pinhole is about a quarter of a millimetre wide.

I think pinhole cameras are such an imprecise art that all you can do is experiment and see what happens.
